Number of treatments In general, a minimum of 6 treatments are needed to see a good result, but often 8-10 treatments are needed to be hair-free. The number of treatments depends on several factors such as hair growth phase, hair color, hair thickness, hormones and the body part.

Advice prior to treatment To be eligible for treatment, it is important that you adhere to the following advice:

The skin must not have been exposed to a sunbed and/or sunlight for 6 weeks before the treatment. Exposure to sunlight/tanning beds makes the skin browner and the laser will no longer focus solely on the pigment of the hair. 4-6 weeks before the treatment, the hairs may no longer be plucked or waxed. For an effective laser treatment it is important that the hair follicles are present in the skin. It is important to shave the hair 1 day before the treatment, because the hair should be as short as possible before the treatment.

Advice after treatment

After the treatment it is important that you take the following into account:

Do not use perfumed products or products with acids during the first 24 hours after the treatment Do not shower too hot, go to the sauna or play sports 24 hours after the treatment.
